Game Three of Stonecutters Floor Hockey!
The Matchup: Dunder Byfuglien (home) vs. Stonecutters (away).

Location: Gates Field House (located inside Ritchie Center), University of Denver.

After kicking off the season with back-to-back losses in Week One, the Stonecutters head into Week Two ready to bounce back against the only team that resulted in the club's only draw in its history: Dunder Byfuglien.
Last season's matchup was truly one for the ages as the both squads exchanged leads throughout the second and third periods. The Stonecutters offense was powered by Molly C., who had a season-high six point effort (3G/3A/6PTS), but a late goal by Dunder Byfuglien ended the scoring by both squads midway through the third period, snatching the ever-elusive victory from the Stonecutters.
Like the Stonecutters, Dunder Byfuglien had a rough start to the Spring season. They were shelled by Wild Bacon by a score of 11-1 on opening night.
In a strange twist of irony, the back-to-back games the Stonecutters played last week proved to be the silver lining in the standings as the goal differential kept them out of the division cellar, while Dunder Byfuglien brings up the rear.
Tonight marks the first of two meetings between the squads...and there can be no doubt that tonight's contest will indeed produce a winner.
